I've always loved taking photos and videos, but officially picked up a professional camera 12 years ago. Nothing excites me more than documenting mine and others' moments. From getting on location and pressing the shutter button to sitting down in my office and opening up Lightroom, I enjoy every aspect of photography. I've been known to sit down and edit an entire session until 3am out of pure excitement to see the final results.
I believe in capturing moments both classically and artistically. Yes, you SHOULD have portraits that should be passed down from generation to generation. However, you should also have creative photos that feel like cinematic paintings that you are proud to display in your home, too. I strike the balance between both - first capturing those classic photos then moving into more artistic posing and composition.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR MY PHOTOS?
While you can technically wear whatever you want for your photos, here are some good guidelines to follow:
1. Wear solids and avoid anything with busy patterns or logos. Busy patterns can cause a moire affect, causing your clothes to look wavy and distorted.
2. Color-wise, it's generally safest to stick with natural, earthy tones while avoiding pure whites and blacks (unless we're taking bridals or wedding photos!). Good colors include soft, muted blues, greens, blush/mauves, tan, cream, and brown.
3. Choose fitted but comfortable clothing.
4. Use layers for added interest and texture, especially in winter, spring, and fall.
5. Keep accessories minimal and simple.

WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUNd TIME?
For any couples (including engagement), family, portrait sessions (including seniors) and bridal shoots, I aim to get your photos to you 2 weeks after our session.
For wedding galleries, I aim to deliver your photos in a 4-6 week time frame.
I will deliver sneak peeks within 24-48 hours of your shoot.
You can pay an expedited editing fee of $200 to get your gallery back to you even quicker if you are under a tight schedule.

HOW WILL MY PHOTOS BE DELIVERED TO ME?
I'll deliver your photos in a digital gallery format through Pixieset. You will then be able to download your full resolution photos straight to your phone, laptop, or tablet.
You'll find your gallery delivered straight to your email. When delivering sneak peeks, I'll typically text them to you (these will be the full resolution versions), unless you prefer another method.

WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD FOR MY SHOOT?
Despite all of our coordination and planning, sometimes Mother Nature has other plans. I'm a BIG lover of rain and snow photos; I think there's something so magical about them. If the weather isn't absolutely insane (torrential rain, blizzards, lightning storms, or strong winds), then I'll still encourage you to move forward with your shoot. If the weather is absolutely insane, then I'll work with you to reschedule your shoot.
Due to the rigid nature of weddings, we'll still go ahead and take photos.

WILL I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
Yes, you will be required to pay a nonrefundable 30% deposit to secure your shoot. Your preferred date will be available to all of my inquiring clients until your deposit is paid. I will send a contract your way to sign at the point of paying your deposit, then your date will be yours!

HOW CAN I SCHEDULE WITH YOU?
Please fill out and submit an inquiry form directly through my website.
After you submit an inquiry form, I'll ask you a few questions and set up a consultation call (depending on the shoot) to learn more about you and your goals for your photoshoot!
If we decide that we're a good match, you will be required to pay a 30% deposit and sign a contract that I'll send over to you.
After the deposit is paid and the contract is signed, your date will officially be booked!
